The West End of London (more commonly referred to as simply the West End) is an area of Central London containing many of the city's major tourist attractions, shops, businesses, government buildings and entertainment venues (including the commercial West End theatres).
The West End covers the areas of Covent Garden, Soho, Chinatown, Leicester Square along with the shopping areas of Oxford Street and Bond Street, and Theatreland. The West End also lies within the congestion charge area. The main tube stations serving the West End are Covent Garden, Piccadilly Circus, Oxford Circus and Leicester Square.
Expo Hire deliver catering equipment and exhibition furniture throughout London to events at venues at West End.
The West End has been the fashionable and rich part of London for centuries. Historically, London was comprised of two adjacent cities - Westminster and the City of London. The City of London became the home of banking and finances while the city of Westminster became more known for leisure and tourism. Richer people flocked to live in the West End as it was invariably upwind of all the smoke from the busy cities to the east.
